Privacy policy
What we collect, and what we do with it.
Written to be read rather than to be survived. If anything here is unclear, ask and we will answer plainly.
This policy covers northstaragency.tech and the enquiry forms on it, including forms you may reach from an advertisement. It was last updated on 10 September 2026.
Information we collect
We collect what you type into our forms. Depending on the form that is your name, email address, phone number, business name, website address, the type of work you do, and your answers about how enquiries currently reach you — including anything you write in a free-text box.
If you arrive from an advertisement or a campaign link, we also record the campaign parameters in that link, the page you landed on and the site that referred you. This is stored in your browser’s session storage and is only sent to us if you choose to submit a form.
If you submit a lead form hosted by an advertising platform — for example a Meta instant form — that platform collects your details first and passes them to us.
This site also carries a chat widget. Anything you type into it, along with any contact details you give it, is collected and handled the same way as a form submission.
How we use it
We use it for exactly two things: preparing and delivering what you asked for, and replying to you about it. We do not sell it, rent it or trade it, and we do not add you to unrelated marketing lists.
Phone, SMS and email contact
If you submit a form, you are asking us to get back to you, and we may follow up by phone, SMS or email about that enquiry. That may include a reply confirming we received it, questions needed to prepare your demo, and a small number of follow-up messages if we do not hear back.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan. We do not sell or share your phone number for anyone else’s marketing.
Reply STOP to opt out of SMS communications at any time, and we will stop texting you. Reply HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop contacting you entirely by any method, and that request is honoured for every channel.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies. Campaign and referral details are held in your browser’s session storage, which your browser clears when you close the tab, and are read only if you submit a form.
Our hosting provider processes standard server request data such as IP address and browser type in order to serve and secure the site. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool, it will be used to measure how pages perform rather than to build a profile of you.
Who else processes your information
We use trusted service providers to run the business, and your information passes through some of them. We do not claim your data never leaves us, because that would not be true. At present those providers include:
- GoHighLevel (including its LeadConnector chat widget) — our customer relationship management platform, where enquiries are stored, where the chat widget on this site runs, and where SMS and email follow-up is sent from.
- Vercel — hosting for this website.
- Meta — where you submitted a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, that form and its delivery are handled by Meta under Meta’s own privacy policy.
- Email and telephony providers used by the platforms above to actually deliver a message to you.
These providers process your information on our behalf and for our instructions. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept in our CRM for as long as there is a live business conversation, and for up to twenty-four months afterwards so we have context if you come back. Ask us to delete your record sooner and we will.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your record.
- Reply STOP to any text to end SMS contact.
- Ask us to stop contacting you by every channel, not just one.
Children
This is a service for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
